Like lots of other Americans around my age - judging by her steadily growing ratings - I really like Rachel Maddow's brand of offbeat, funny, whipsmart,[url=http://parajumpersoutletjackets.webmium.com/][b]parajumpers outlet jackets[/b][/url], and just plain nice punditry. Doing the press rounds when MSNBC first announced her show in August, she'd show up to interviews looking like, she says,[url=http://rogerviviershoesshoponline.webmium.com/][b]http://rogerviviershoesshoponline.webmium.com/[/b][/url], "a 14-year-old boy" in puffy Samantha Ronson sneakers with iPod headphones dangling from her ears--but then she'd easily segue into an informed foreign- policy or economic discussion that ended with a Daily Show-worthy punch line
But see, that's just it. Only those guys don't actually do straight news coverage or punditry.
But Rachel Maddow also seems like "one of us,[url=http://peutereyjacketsuppliers.webmium.com/][b]peuterey down jacket[/b][/url]," and she does offer serious news coverage and analysis. She's our age. She speaks our language. She knows our humor and our pop culture references. For me, and for my friends with whom I've discussed Maddow's appeal, watching The Rachel Maddow Show is like finally finding a political "home" amid the cable TV chatter.
It's likely how my grandpa felt the first time he heard Rush Limbaugh,[url=http://peutereyjacketsuppliers.webmium.com/][b]peuterey jacket manufacturers[/b][/url].
I am almost 65, and I think Rachel is the best thing to happen to news in decades. She is so smart and funny and just plain nice. Great move by MSNBC. You clearly have no personal knowledge of what it is like to really live it. We have lived it and we all saw things. Maybe you should lecture the NTM leadership about what the Bible says.
